Is there any use for air purifier?

Basic principles of air purifier:

To illustrate the effectiveness of air purifiers, the question to be answered is whether air purifiers can remove solid or gaseous pollutants in the air. This should be explained from the working principle of the purifier.

For fine particulates, air purifiers need to allow fine particles to stay on filter lines in some ways. There are many ways to stop the particles, and it is summed up in no more than two ways: the particles collided themselves, or the net adsorbed the particles through a certain force. The former way is more effective for larger particles, and the latter is more effective for smaller particles. The two ways, which are very sad to filter out, are the fine particles - the standard fine particles used to calibrate the filter efficiency (the aerodynamics are 0.3 microns in diameter). The purifier using the consumable filter net applies the two filtering principles at the same time, while for the high voltage electrostatic filter without consumables, it is mainly adsorbed and only one of them is used.

For gaseous pollutants, activated carbon is the only way available. The most likely improvement is to add a number of catalysts on the basis of activated carbon adsorption, allowing the adsorbed formaldehyde and other gaseous organic compounds to be decomposed to improve the accumulative purification of the filter.

In view of different pollutants, the basic principle of air purifier is to continuously make indoor air circulate, and use some means to adsorb the pollutants in the air on the filter net, and then discharge the filtered air and circulate the air in order to resist pollution source and purify.
